christmas solo shred

I hope every one had an awesome christmas or honika, i did. I got a sweet mini snipes (digital camera) so now i can post a lot more pictures.

Anyway today I went on a sweet solo ride in Auburn CA, I grew up riding these trails and the last time I rode them was about 3 years ago. I am really lucky to have awesome girlfriend to shuttle my booty to the top :) so I was able to pump downhill till I couldn't hold on any longer.
These trails are awesome! They have everything you need to have, a fun afternoon on a bike. They have this one trail called Rocky, and it turned out to be a river bed. I was hoping that the name was an oxymoron because the first bit looked really smooth, but once I went around the first turn I was smashing rocks with my Lyric.
On our way out of Auburn we stoped at the local djs I used to ride. They were too wet to ride but it was sweet to see them semi maintained.
5 more days till I get to hangout with D block , Curtag, and How E Im super stoked. I get to be tour guide for once, they are coming to cali and we are going to shred. Tomorrow Im going to Aptos to shred and shoot with my homie lazzer, hes the sickest.

Fun Stuff

On my way back to PG I had a nice stop over in Whistler. Tylers got a bunch of sweet tyler goodies on his bikes so I captured some memorable moments. Plus Ross Measures was in tha house building his new Monk! So dialed.
We had a brown snake contest in the pumptrack too. Tyler won and Kevin got angry...



Haha and you know your leaving Pemberton when you've gotta drive around horses who are wondering the roads shatting themselves...

Small Jumps And Hardtails

Well both Kyles are gone so me and Curtis today decided to go actually ride our hardtails. We went to the local bike park and rode the jumps there and snapped a few photos. The colors were grose so they got the B&W look. It was a mellow sesh.

This is sprokids bike park. The cap collage mountian bike program re-did the park last season and its really sick. Its within walking distance form the Langdale ferry, its woth checking out. They also have a pretty awesome network of mellow XC trails, And a freeride trail.

BURRITO MADNESS

hey everyone :)
sorry its been awile
Im at home in Cali now. ive been here for about two weeks now and i have manage to eat a burrito a day, sometimes if im lucky I'll fit in two hahahaha.
Winter is here, and the way you can tell is you start to see alot of Canadians flying south for the winter.
The past week I have been building with Randy Spangler out in Sacremento, at terris house. terri has a shit load of land and randy gets to build a mega skills park on it. every thing from sweet dj trails to the in door out door pumptrack. Prety much terris house is like 15 min from my house and i try to get out there as much as i can, so when Curtis and HOW-E come we will have somthing to shred close to my house:)im going down to aptos tomorrow to shred with my homies tomorrow and Ill take some picsman i miss my coast crew and chillen in the burrito[Photo]

Winding down.

So things are slowly winding down as the bad weather becomes more apparent. Our Seggy is pretty much wrapped, only 1 more shot to get.

This was the last shoot we did, lots of fast corners for me and Curtis. Norbz got the snipes.







Also Kyle Norbraten and I have been working on a B Labs video with the new boxxer. We got some serious fog the other day when Kyle, Curtis and I were shooting. It will be up on here and blackboxlabs.net in the next few weeks. Big bike blasting.

Summer plans?

Here's a little idea for a sweet Christmas/birthday combo present or better reason to expand your paper route...Summer Gravity Camps. The week long camps are for all skill levels and the solid cast of coaches gaurantee that you'll become more confident on a bike than you ever thought possible. Its a mix of new friends, the bike park, fun coaches and new experiences that make this camp the best! Check it out!

If any of you have ever watched Sam Pilgrim ride then you'll be stoked that he has a super rad seggy comin together for the film. Sam is unreal to watch ride, hes one of those guys who warms up doin tailwhips and 3's...and he is hilarious.

Relief!

Today we wrapped up all of Kyle and mines shots for the seggy. Stoked! We've got a few more key shots to get of Curt and Dyl then we're done! Good thing we got our shots cuz Kyle's leavin Canada tomorrow to go home and join the migration to Cali to go ride sick ass jumps! We made sure we did a sick adventure before he left so we hiked to the top of the mountain behind the house. We 4x4ed up as high as would could, scoped our line to the peak, bushwacked through the bush and up some rockfaces then found the top. We just made it out before dark!

Chromag Monk!

I've been riding my Monk for almost a year now and I love this bike. The geo, weight, look and feel is dialed. Its like a steel version of Semenuks hardtail. This bikes purpose in life is to shred rollers, jumps and burms....basically a pumptrack machine. Doesn't get much better than that.

Should have a vid of the monk in action soon...

New Camera

Picked up a used Canon 30D body today, bought a Canon 50mm f/1.8 and tested it out! First 3 are Rage Kage, next 2 are Curtag.

Summer to Fall

So summer was super sick, spent alot of time up in Whistler with my homies. Crankworx blew my mind and im sure we all agree Brandon rode first place runs every time he dropped in. Anyone recognize this shot?
We've spent alot of time building over the summer too. We documented the building of a few of our features for extras and webvids so look forward to that!
After we finished building and before we started filming we took a quick trip up to PG, my dirty homeland. We shralped it up for a couple days with big poppin Pinner then hit the road back to the real world. Oh and we had a sick bonfire that we all got down with for Oct 31 and Howey snapped himself right off. So funny.
